About this speaker
Kesia’s first job in publishing was as an assistant at Pan Macmillan, London in 2013. She moved to Chicken House in 2015 where she worked her way up from junior to senior editor, commissioning MG and YA fiction. She then relocated to the US where she worked as a literary agent for two years, for the Bindery Agency and Donald Maass Literary Agency. Now, she’s back in London working as Commissioning Editor for First Ink, the YA imprint of Macmillan Children’s Books. Kesia is also the author of three YA novels published by Bloomsbury UK, the latest is Let’s Play Murder (2023).
