Karen Inglis is the international best selling author of 'The Secret Lake' time travel middle-grade adventure series, as well as of picture books and chapter books for children ages 3 to 12. She has sold close to 3/4 million print books, with foreign rights to The Secret Lake sold to 13 countries. Karen has been offered traditional deals over the years, but has chosen to remain in control of her IP. 'Beyond the Secret Lake', book 3 in her time travel series, won the UK 2025 Selfies Children’s Book Award.
Karen’s non-fiction book ‘How to Self-publish and Market a Children’s Book’ is in its second edition, with an updated edition planned for late 2025/early 2026. For non-fiction she writes as Karen P Inglis.
